The Client:

CoverGIRL is a cosmetics brand that primarily provides a wide variety of consumer-grade cosmetics.

Target Audience:

Makeup lovers aged 24–40 who regularly buy beauty products at their local drugstore.

The Challenge:

Placing an ad in a magazine for makeup lovers who like looking fabulous and confident, using make-up to enhance their natural beauty. This piece is intended to be placed in magazines to make readers aware of and increase sales of their new product.

The Solution:

Using Covergirl's fun brand tone, I used language that would appeal to readers of the magazine this advertisement would appear in. The brand new COVERGIRL TrueYou Match Lipstick matches the wearer's natural lip colour and enhances it with reflective pigments. The result is a look they can wear day and night, and at the same time, the lipstick keeps lips healthy and soft.
